I cannot stop thinking about how good and faithful Jesus has been to us. Your prayer and support have carried us before the Father, through a very challenging season, with many needs and issues to address. In this season, we have seenHis faithfulness and continued growth in Love on Fire.
Our partnership with Lighthouse Church (Fourl2 Youth) in Calgary SW, has produced a thriving youth drop-in night, with attendance in the mid-forties each night. Predominately, these are unreached youth, so there is an ongoing need for the work of the gospel with this group. We have seen 5 salvations here since this summer! We are pleased that the ministry has grown and that Clarke and Vee Scanks have done such an amazing job heading this up. We will continue working alongside this ministry, especially in consulting and bringing in evangelism teams. Lighthouse has completed their contract with us and are capable to run this ministry on their own.
The Airdrie group has been growing as well. We have taken a strong discipleship focus with this group. Over the past two years, we have registered over 140 students in Airdrie. About 60 are regulars and we have a growing, weekly, drop-in, attendance of youth and new leaders in the high twenties. Our monthly Super Chapel has been growing slowly as well. We saw a young man give his heart to Jesus at our October Super Chapel. He is now part of our discipleship training group.
We just took 22 students from our DiscipleshipTraining Module to share their faith and pray for students from a local public school during their lunch break. It was an exciting and faith growing time!We also took a team of 13 of our students to a local mall. Someone gave their heart to Jesus at the mall as our outreach team shared the Gospel with them. We are so blessed to have had the Martyr’s Life team from Eston College come along-side us for these outreaches and to preach the gospel at F o u r 1 2 Y o u t h !
