United We Stand: Fundraising Gala 2016



United Youth Outreach (formerly AYMI) exists to see the youth of Canada and beyond come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour. We facilitate this by developing and launching outreaches through our central ministry hub in Calgary. Every ministry that is a part of our hub has exactly the same focus: Students & Christ. Our mandate is to empower leaders to win & disciple young people in order to influence culture and bring hope to a dark world.

United is called to unity among our staff, our ministries, our volunteers and to you, our supporters. Without your prayer and support, we would not be able to do the work that we do.

“United We Stand” is an evening for us to thank those of you who have supported us, and to welcome new friends into our mission. Please join us for an evening of food, networking and entertainment. Hear more about our ministries and what they do, as well as their vision. There will be testimonies from individuals who have experienced significant growth through participating in our programs.

There will be opportunity to donate throughout the evening. We will be accepting cash, credit cards, cheques and PayPal payments (sorry, no debit). Cheques can be made payable to United Youth Outreach. All proceeds of the evening will go towards United being able to fulfill our mission through supporting our current ministries and bringing on new ministries.

What is Included in the Cost of a Ticket?

An evening of hors d’oeuvres, one beverage voucher, new friends, networking, entertainment, information about United Youth Outreach and a time for prayer and worship.

Note: A dry cash bar will be available for additional beverage purchases.

Can I Buy a Table?

Yes! Tables are available to purchase for $280. There are 8 seats per table. Your table will be reserved and marked at the event under the individual who made the purchase. Please ensure that you include your most recent email address so we can keep in touch with you about your guests.

Is there Assigned Seating?

There is no assigned seating. There will be assigned tables for those involved in the programming of the event as well as those who choose to purchase tables.

Where Can I Park?

Civic on Third is located closely to Riverfront Avenue, which has ample street parking. City of Calgary parking is free after 6pm on evenings and weekends. There is an Impark parking lot south of the venue if you wish to pay for parking and be closer to the venue. We will be providing a map shortly so you will have a better idea of where to park the night of the event.

Can I Bring My Kids?

This is an adult only event. Childcare will not be provided. Nursing mothers are welcome to bring their infants (free of charge).

What is 'Formal Attire'?

Formal Attire can range from cocktail attire to black tie attire. Men may choose to wear anything from slacks and a dress shirt to a tux. Women may choose to wear anything from a skirt and blouse to a floor-length gown.

Can I Purchase a Ticket at the Door?

This is a catered event. Ticket sales will be discontinued October 16th at 11:00pm. We will not be selling tickets at the door. Please purchase your tickets online as soon as possible to ensure that your name is on our guest list.
